Apex Metric
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
Y.G.I. LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Apex Metric mobile application. This policy explains what data the app and its service providers process, why they process it, and the choices available to you.
Data We Collect
- Fitness data: Step counts, calorie estimates, distance, activity type, and duration are stored locally on your device.
- Nutrition data: Food entries and calorie logs are stored locally on your device.
- Device sensors: Accelerometer data is processed in real time to count steps. Raw sensor readings are not transmitted and are not retained after processing.
- Purchase data: Google Play processes Pro upgrade purchases. The app stores your entitlement status, but Y.G.I. LLC does not receive your payment-card details.
- Advertising data: In the free version, Google AdMob may process device identifiers, advertising data, diagnostics, and app-interaction data to provide and measure ads, prevent fraud, and comply with law.
Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not require an account, name, email address, or password.
- We do not transmit your fitness or nutrition logs to a Y.G.I. LLC server.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not collect or share your precise location.
How We Use Data
Locally stored data is used to calculate and display your fitness, activity, nutrition, achievement, and progress information. Sensor input is used only for step-tracking features. Advertising data is processed by Google AdMob for the purposes described above.
Data Sharing
Apex Metric does not provide your locally stored fitness or nutrition logs to other users or to Y.G.I. LLC servers. Google may process data through AdMob and Google Play as an independent service provider under its own terms and privacy policies.
Data Retention and Deletion
App records are kept in Android app-private storage until you clear the app's data or uninstall Apex Metric. You can delete them in Android Settings by selecting Apps, Apex Metric, Storage, then Clear data. Retention by Google services is governed by Google's policies.
Permissions
Apex Metric requests physical-activity or motion access to count steps and record a walking or running session. This permission is optional; you can deny or revoke it in Android Settings.
Children's Privacy
Apex Metric is intended for adults age 18 and older and is not directed to children.
Your Choices
You may decline motion permission, reset your advertising identifier through Android settings, remove local app data, or uninstall the app. Privacy rights may also apply based on where you live.
